About this event
This new course to Kew will investigate various methods to make your garden more environmentally friendly. Hints and tips on composting, fertilisers, companion planting, disease resistant cultivars of fruit and veg as well as border design for ornamental gardens to encourage natural predators are to name but a few. You will learn that organic gardening is just carrying out good practice in the garden. Tutor, Christine Lavelle was awarded the Garden Writer's Guild, Practical Book of the Year award, for her book on Organic Gardening.
