The Great Pagoda

There are 253 steps to the top of the Pagoda, so we advise against booking if you have any health conditions that are made worse by a steep climb. Children under 5 years old do not need a ticket to enter the Pagoda, but for safety reasons must remain on the ground floor with a responsible adult. Further restrictions apply, please ensure that you have read the guidance advice and garden notices before booking a ticket.

Please take care when choosing your timeslot. Due to limited space inside the Pagoda we cannot always guarantee entry to latecomers.

Kew members

Kew members get a 10% discount on Great Pagoda tickets. Enter your membership number in the code box on the members page to receive your discount

Historic Royal Palaces' members

Members of Historic Royal Palaces can climb the Great Pagoda free of charge, but will need to purchase entry to Kew Gardens. You can reserve a timed ticket to the Pagoda at the Gates when you enter Kew Gardens, just present your membership card.
